Thanks for asking. I love the art of photography. I am passionate about documenting the emotions and events of your wedding. Trained as a painter, I have a real sense of composition and color.

My background includes 10 years of professional photography. In addition to photographing weddings, maternity, portraits, or fine art, I have shot internationally for magazines and travel guidebooks. Examples of my travel photography are available on my travel website. My stock images have appeared in countless Lonely Planet Guidebooks, National Geographic Kids, Outside magazine, and Time. These photographs are sold worldwide by Lonely Planet Images, agefotostock, and Alamy Images.

I focus on capturing the moment as it happens. I prefer to allow the events to unfold and capture the tears, laughter, and insanity of a wedding day without running you through strict timetables and lengthy formal shoots. My goal is to make you comfortable. Your "formals" will just be another part of your day, and enjoyable for all involved. I encourage your guests to join us as we work together to get exactly what you envisioned.

I am unique in offering both formats. Many of the unique artistic photographs I shoot with traditional film would be impossible, or very difficult, to achieve digitally. Examples of these appear in my ARTISTIC COLLECTION gallery. There are pros and cons to film & digital.
